Another generous donation of winter supplies to AK

The young women residing at CatholicCare’s AK Emergency Accommodation Service never miss out on the opportunity to have brand new essential items, thanks to Kingborough Helping Hands.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have had the generosity of Helping Hands over many years, and they have, once again, helped to ensure that our young women are supported so beautifully,” said AK Young Women’s Emergency Accommodation Coordinator, Rebecca.

On a recent shopping expedition, Rebecca and the Kingborough Helping Hands participants Edna, Maxine and Judy, purchased winter supplies for AK.

“The contribution from Helping Hands is massive and I would like to send them a big ‘thank you’!” said Rebecca, “Their commitment is enormous, and we appreciate and admire the hard work they put in serving AK and the community.”
