CatholicCare’s stall at the Twilight Market was a bright and colourful part of Glenorchy City Council’s Youth Week recently.

The stall was organised by AK Young Women’s Emergency Accommodation Service, Therapeutic Residential Care and Family Support Programs staff and showed off the art, craft and marketing talents of young people who are associated with these services. Among the handmade toiletries and Easter cards for sale, there was a lot of interest in Blake’s eye-popping electric green minty footbath salts as well as fun and games with an egg-guessing competition and a find-the-frog challenge.

It was a popular event bringing crowds and colour to Glenorchy’s council car park on a warm and sunny afternoon.

“It’s great to be part of such an exciting community event for National Youth Week and to have young people from our programs involved and engaging in the wider community. We love to celebrate their contributions and recognise their incredible talents,” said AK Team Leader Rebecca.
